Questions teachers ask
Will parents know they’re texting an AI?
Yes. On the first text, every family hears that Prentice is your AI assistant. Prentice never pretends to be you.
Does Prentice know my makeup policy?
Prentice learns it from you: how many makeups a term, how much notice, what happens to a no-show. Then Prentice offers makeups by your policy, and checks with you on anything outside it.
Can Prentice handle monthly tuition?
Yes. Prentice drafts each family’s tuition from your rates. You approve each one, and Prentice sends them and follows up on late ones when you say so. Prentice works with QuickBooks, or keeps the books for you.
Will Prentice text families at night?
Prentice answers whenever a family texts, even at 10 PM. If you’d rather Prentice never starts a text late, say so once and Prentice keeps to it.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. Your studio gets a Prentice number of its own. Give that number to families, or forward your studio line to Prentice while you’re teaching.
Can my other teachers use Prentice?
Yes. Add your teachers, and Prentice texts with them the same way as with you.
