Why we started Prentice

In late 2025, AI got good enough to do real work. We saw a future where AI works alongside people, so they can get precious time back in their lives.

As we looked around, most of what we saw were tools: things you would need to manually set up, connect and monitor. For a small business owner, that would just add one more thing to their plate.

So we set out to create an AI hire. Someone who learns your business by talking to you. Someone who does the work the way you would, and brings you in when unsure.

We called that hire Prentice, and we hold Prentice to the same standard as all the systems we’ve built.
