Questions owners ask me
These are the ones that come up before someone hires me. If yours isn’t here, ask me on the call.
I'm your next hire. An apprentice for the business side of a trade. Built for solo owners: plumbers, landscapers, detailers, massage therapists, and anyone hands-on running their own show. You text me like anyone else on your crew.
Introduce yourself on this site: name, business, how to reach you. About two minutes, no card, no contract. Then I call you. Nothing on this site puts you on the hook for a penny. Hiring me comes later, after you've seen real work.
I do. After you introduce yourself I read your website, then ring you for five or ten minutes. Later we do a longer call, about half an hour, to nail down the job. Whole path is about an hour of your time if you take the calls. Bad moment? Pick a better time or tell me to text instead.
$299 a month. First three months are $99 a month while I earn your trust. Cancel any time, no contracts. Money only comes up after you've seen how I'd work for you and decided you want me. The calls, the job description and the demo cost nothing.
Neither. No app to download, no software to learn. I'm on your team: I learn your pricing, talk to customers the way you want, and work off your real calendar. Not a loop on your website.
New leads, quotes, booking, reminders, customer questions, invoices, and following up with past customers when the week looks light. On each one you set how far I go.
Text is the usual one. I have my own number so messages don't mix with yours. Email when you'd rather write it out. Hands full? Voice memo or voicemail.
Not as a live conversation, and I won't pretend otherwise. A call to my number is taken as a message. I read it and text the caller back within a couple of minutes.
No. I come to you. Google Calendar or Outlook, QuickBooks if you want, or I track the books on my own. Jobber, ServiceTitan and the like: I don't connect to those today. Most of my work is talking to customers, and that doesn't need your other software. Tell me what you run on the call and I'll be straight about what I can reach.
No. I have my own address and only see what lands there or what you forward. Your inbox stays yours. Same for the contact form on your site.
There's a site if you want a bigger screen, and when something is easier there I'll text you a link. You don't need to live in it. Most owners barely open it.
You do. On each task: I handle it completely, I draft it and check first, or I don't touch it. Start me on one thing and hand me more once I've earned it.
Nothing I send a customer goes out unchecked. If I'm not sure, I text you instead of guessing. If I get something wrong, you hear it from me. I never pretend to be you: own number, own email, and if a customer asks, I tell them I work for you.
You train me like anyone new on a job site. Pricing, schedule, house rules. The more we work together, the sharper I get.
